General Conditions and Territorial Scope

META Channel Corporation Ltd. is a commercial company under Irish law that acts as an infrastructure for the coordination, structuring and management of legal assignments. Legal services are provided exclusively by independent lawyers qualified in each jurisdiction, who assume legal direction and corresponding professional responsibility. This reference scale establishes the economic conditions applicable to orders coordinated by META Channel Legal Desk in the Spanish jurisdiction.

The independent lawyers appointed for each assignment are subject to the professional and deontological regulations that apply to them in their jurisdiction of practice. META Channel Legal Desk operates in multiple jurisdictions. The economic conditions of each assignment depend on the designated professional, local regulation, the complexity of the matter and the reference market. For the Spanish jurisdiction, META Channel has established this reference scale agreed upon with its network of professionals, which is published for the purposes of transparency and as a basis for the formalization of orders.

These conditions are intended to serve as a basis for determining the economic conditions that will be applied to orders coordinated by META Channel Legal Desk in Spain. The total amount of the assignment will correspond to the sum of the different actions carried out by the designated professional, plus the coordination fees of META Channel Corporation when applicable, increased by the corresponding taxes.

In judicial procedures there is the possibility of not seeing the claims satisfied and being ordered to pay costs, which may entail having to pay, in addition to the fees of the professionals involved, the fees of the professionals of the opposing party as well as other expenses of the procedure. META Channel Legal Desk informs the client of this possibility in the corresponding order form.

All META Channel Legal Desk clients receive a formalized assignment sheet detailing the specific financial conditions of the assignment, the designated independent professional, and the coordination functions of META Channel Corporation.

The economic conditions reflected in this scale do not include taxes. In the Spanish jurisdiction, the provision of legal services is subject to Value Added Tax (21% VAT) or the Canary Islands General Indirect Tax (7% IGIC) depending on the territory. The amounts indicated must be increased with the corresponding tax to calculate the total price.

Note on the territorial scope: This reference scale establishes the economic conditions applicable exclusively to orders coordinated by META Channel Legal Desk in Spanish jurisdiction. META Channel Legal Desk operates in multiple jurisdictions (Spain, Ireland, Latin America, among others). For the rest of the jurisdictions, the economic conditions are determined on an individual basis and are communicated to the client in the corresponding order form. Spain is the jurisdiction in which META Channel Legal Desk has the highest concentration of coordinated professionals and the highest operational volume, which has made it possible to establish a detailed public scale.

General Provisions: META Channel Legal Desk coordinates the actions of independent professionals whose activity must be remunerated in accordance with the conditions established in the corresponding order form. For orders coordinated by META Channel Legal Desk there is the possibility of setting a global price for the contracted services. In this case, an Order Form will always be drawn up, which is the contractual instrument that formalizes the relationship between the parties.

Determination of the Amount

Time Fees

When it is necessary to minute by hour, (that is, when there is no prior budget because the client renounces it or by specific agreement in that sense):

Determination of the Amount

Procedure Fees

Lawyers' fees may also depend largely on the amount of the procedure or economic interest in dispute, if so agreed. In that case, the amount will be determined by the value of the thing or the lawsuit in dispute.

When the amount is undetermined, the following will be taken as a basis: 25.000 €

Example of Scale (base €25,000): First €4,000 at 25% (€1,000) + Rest up to €18,000 (€3,520) + Rest that does not reach €30,000 at 16% (€1,920). Total fees: €6,440.

General Conditions and Territorial Scope

META Channel Corporation Ltd. is a commercial company under Irish law that acts as an infrastructure for the coordination, structuring and management of legal assignments. Legal services are provided exclusively by independent lawyers qualified in each jurisdiction, who assume legal direction and corresponding professional responsibility. This scale establishes the economic conditions applicable to orders coordinated by META Channel Legal Desk in the Spanish jurisdiction.

META Channel Legal Desk operates in multiple jurisdictions. For the Spanish jurisdiction, this agreed scale has been established and published for transparency purposes. The total amount of the order will correspond to the sum of the different actions, plus the coordination fees of META Channel Corporation when applicable, increased by taxes. In judicial proceedings there is the possibility of an order for costs.

The economic conditions reflected do not include taxes. In Spain, the benefit is subject to 21% VAT or 7% IGIC depending on the territory.

Note on the territorial scope: This scale applies exclusively to Spain. For other jurisdictions (Ireland, Latin America, etc.), the conditions are determined on an individual basis and are communicated in the order form. Spain is the jurisdiction with the highest concentration of coordinated professionals and operational volume, allowing this detailed public scale.

General Provisions: There is the possibility of setting a global price for the contracted services, formalized in the Order Form.

Determination of the Amount

Time Fees

When it is necessary to take minutes by hour (as there is no prior budget due to resignation or agreement):

Determination of the Amount

Procedure Fees

The fees may depend on the amount of the procedure or economic interest in dispute. The amount will be determined by the value of the thing or lawsuit.

Example of Scale (base €25,000): First €4,000 at 25% (€1,000) + Rest up to €18,000 (€3,520) + Rest that does not reach €30,000 at 16% (€1,920). Total fees: €6,440.
