2. The Strategic Challenge
A biotechnology startup had developed a new patentable process. Before seeking financing or commercial partners, it needed to design an intellectual property (IP) protection strategy that would be robust both in the European Union and in key Latin American markets (Brazil, Mexico).
3. The META Channel Solution Architecture
An “IP Shielding Strategy” was designed that coordinated the registration of the patent across the different jurisdictions while at the same time implementing a document management platform to protect trade secrets during the negotiations.
