A Spanish SaaS company identified a startup in Ecuador with complementary technology that was key to its expansion in the Andean region. It needed to execute a fast, secure cross-border acquisition, handling the technical and legal due diligence, the valuation and the execution of the contract under Ecuadorian law.
3. The META Channel Solution Architecture
An “M&A Express” solution was designed that combined financial execution from Spain with legal execution on the ground in Ecuador. To guarantee the security and speed of the process, a custom Virtual Data Room (VDR) was developed for the transaction.
