Case Title
From Mexico to Europe: A FinTech Made Ready for a Series A
1. Scenario
- Client Archetype: Payments FinTech.
- Sector: Financial Services / Payments.
- Operation Vector: Mexico → Europe (Access to Investment).
2. The Strategic Challenge
A Mexican payments fintech with significant traction wanted to raise a Series A with European funds in order to expand into the European market. It had held conversations with several funds that all ended the same way: “we like the business, but we don’t understand the structure”, because its Mexican corporate architecture was not legible to European investors.
3. The META Channel Solution Architecture
The Orbital Investment & Execution Hub carried out the transformation needed to make the company investable for European funds. A new structure with a holding company in an acceptable jurisdiction was designed and implemented, financial statements were prepared under IFRS standards, the investment narrative was built and the due diligence was pre-packaged in a structured data room.
4. Ecosystem Orchestration: Layers in Action
Layer 5 (Substantive Legal), led by META Channel, designed the new corporate architecture geared towards international investment. Layer 2 (Reference Partners) prepared the financial documentation under IFRS and the valuation model, while Layer 4 (Technological) implemented the structured data room and Layer 1 (Institutional) connected with European fintech funds with a specific LATAM thesis.
5. META Channel Category
Orbital Investment. Transforms Latin American companies into investable assets for European funds, designing structures with international holding companies and preparing documentation under IFRS standards.
