The legal department of a large retail company was swamped with drafting and reviewing low-value contracts, such as store leases and supplier agreements. It needed to automate that work so that its lawyers could focus on more strategic matters.
What we did
- We analysed the company’s standard contracts and built a bespoke AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform.
- With the platform, business managers now generate their own contract drafts from smart templates.
- Lawyers from our network worked alongside the developers to train the AI and ensure the quality of the templates.
