The challenge
Investors were asking for more and more ESG information, and the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) brought new reporting obligations. The group had to bring together environmental, social and governance data from its 5 production plants and turn it into accurate, auditable reports.
What we did
- We built a bespoke dashboard connected to each plant’s systems, aggregating ESG data in real time and generating the reports the CSRD requires.
- ESG regulation experts from our network defined the indicators (KPIs) the platform needed to measure.
- We coordinated the roll-out across the 5 plants.
The outcome
- Platform developed and rolled out across the group in 6 months.
- 90% of data collection for the sustainability report now automated.
- Reporting that meets CSRD requirements.
- A better ESG rating for the company, which attracted new impact investment funds.
