The Mission:
Design and negotiate external litigation funding structures that maximize returns for META Channel and protect the client’s interests, all within the applicable European legal framework.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Structure third-party funding and non-recourse financing agreements.
- Draft and negotiate contracts with international funds (Therium, Harbour, Burford and similar).
- Design waterfall, success fee, confidentiality and dispute resolution clauses.
- Coordinate with ATE insurers for adverse costs cover.
- Oversee compliance with the agreements throughout the life of the litigation.
Required Profile — Who You Are:
- You are a senior lawyer specialized in litigation funding or with experience at litigation finance funds.
- You have closed litigation funding agreements of €20M+.
- You are proficient in funding contracts, ATE insurance and proceeds-sharing structures.
- You speak fluently with institutional funds and high-level corporate clients.
