The Mission:

Assess the economic value and the likelihood of success of major legal disputes and tax structures in order to determine funding viability and expected return. You are Phases 1 and 2: Origination & Due Diligence + Structuring and Valuation.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Lead the legal and financial due diligence on each candidate case.
  • Build probabilistic valuation models and return scenarios.
  • Draft investment memos and investment packs for the committee.
  • Coordinate with external lawyers to validate legal strength.
  • Establish selection and scoring criteria for opportunities.

Required Profile — Who You Are:

  • You are a senior lawyer with experience in international arbitration or Big Law litigation, combined with financial acumen.
  • You are proficient in damages valuation, Bayesian probability and financial modeling.
  • You have worked at litigation finance boutiques, at funds or in legal M&A.
  • You read a complex case and see the financial structure within 48 hours.
